Steel Pan Drummer

Growing up in a family of musicians, Jimmy found himself playing a wide variety of different instruments and music genres. After years of playing his father and brother invited Jimmy in the opportunity to start a band. Because Jimmy was so talented and they need a drummer, Jimmy took the time to learn the drums as well. While playing the drums for many years, he finally came to the conclusion he wanted to be able to perform by himself, and entertain people in a new and fun way. When Jimmy found the steel pan drum, he fell in love.

The music is unique, you can play songs people know, and he was amazed by the reaction people displayed when they saw him play. This was Jimmy’s new found love. Jimmy has had the great opportunity to play on a wide variety of stages. From cruise ships, Yacht Clubs, and festivals to weddings, tiki bars, and corporate events. His vast library of songs he can perform and the ability to learn special requests and new songs has made him a very poplar steel pan drummer. Sought after not just in the Tampa area, but all over including Miami and Orlando. Jimmy specializes in wedding ceremonies and cocktail hours, giving the Florida bride and groom or destination couple, the true Caribbean feel to their beautiful Florida wedding.
